Dear Parents :

We are very excited to be starting a new sight word program in class . sight words are words that are very common in books we read and children come across many of them before they learn phonetics rules to read them . because of this , it is extremly important that they learn these words with automaticity .
There will be aset of 5 words that will be sent home every thursday . you can help by ensuring your child reads the sight words at home daily . we will also be sending home 5 activity sheets through out the week to help them master these words.
